Pottery Classes

Courses are 8 weeks and meet once a week for 3 hours. From beginner to advanced, our classes are for all levels.

Wheel students will learn or/and continue to advance their skills throwing, trimming, and glazing. Hand building students will learn all techniques to create unique one-of-a-kind pieces including slab work, coiling, and pinch pots.

The cost for adult classes is $495 for 8 weeks. This includes clay and glazes, and one free drop in practice session. Students provide their own tools, aprons and towels. Firing fees are invoiced on a monthly basis. The cost is 5 cents per cubic inch for each piece fired (covering both the bisque and glaze firing). Additional 3 and 4 hour practice sessions can be reserved by students at an additional cost ($40).

Full payment is required at registration. There are no make-up classes. All participants must be at least 18 years of age (except for kids hand building and teen wheel courses).
